We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our client’s New Build & Major Works team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of capital and revenue work streams. Your responsibilities will include overseeing contractors and STH operatives, ensuring compliance with training requirements, and managing the day-to-day operations efficiently. Possessing relevant certifications such as SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and scaffold inspection would be advantageous. A full driving license with your own transport is also preferred.
Pay rate – £19.26
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contractors and STH operatives within the New Build & Major Works team.
- Ensure smooth delivery of capital and revenue work streams.
- Oversee training requirements and ensure compliance with relevant certifications (SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, asbestos awareness, scaffold inspection).
- Efficiently manage day-to-day operations and coordinate workflow.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality standards and meet project deadlines.
- Implement and enforce health and safety procedures, adhering to regulations and company policies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Your Requirements
- Proven experience as a Team Leader in New Build & Major Works or a related field.
- Possession of certifications such as SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and scaffold inspection would be advantageous.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Full driving license with your own transport preferred.
